Accessibility: where we stand
This page tells you what Sociami offers today to be comfortable to use, how we measure it, and what has not been checked yet.
Last updated: October 12, 2026
What exists today
- Two themes, light and dark. You can change the theme at any time, even without an account.
- Four text sizes, to choose in Settings when you have an account. This setting works independently of your browser's zoom.
- If your system asks to reduce animations, Sociami turns them all off.
- When you navigate with the keyboard, the selected element is marked by an outline and by its border, which turns green.
- Sociami avoids letting colour carry information on its own. For example, when a character speaks in a voice simulation, the words “… is playing a role” appear in addition to the change of colour.
- Sociami exists in seven languages: French, English, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese.
What we measure
With every new version, an automatic test opens the pages of the public site and of the signed-in area at five widths, from a phone to a large desktop screen, and also in the dark theme on the phone and on the large screen.
- It measures whether the page overflows sideways. If a page overflows, the release of that version stops.
- It records the size of links and buttons (24 pixels high at least) and the contrast of the text. These two measures are noted in the log of the version, but they do not stop the release.
Where we stand
No external accessibility audit (RGAA or WCAG) has been carried out on Sociami yet. So we cannot announce a level of compliance, and we do not announce one.
The measures above are automatic. They do not find everything and they do not replace an audit.
